Extension Activity of Alumni Association

Chaiduar College Alumni Association was established in 2003. It is a registered body under the REGISTRATION OF SOCIETIES ACT XXI OF 1860. The office of the association is in the campus of the college. The chief objectives of the association are:
1. To interact and keep in touch with the ex-students of the college.
2. To engage the former students in various academic and non-academic programs and events of the college.
3. To generate fund through alumnus contributions.
4. A total of Rs. 13,18,781.50 (13.19 Lakhs) were collected from the alumnis of the college during the Golden Jubilee celebrations in Novemver, 2018. This amount was utilized in constructing the Guest House and the new college canteen of the college. Thus, the Alumni Association helped substantially in the infrastructure development of the college during the current assessment cycle. Moreover, a total amount of Rs. 10000 were utilized for constructing a garden around the statue of Sudhakontho Dr. Bhupen Hazarika .
5. As a proof of its social responsibility and commitment towards the community, the Alumni Association has been facilitating visits of college teachers to nearby schools of the district where the college teachers mentor the students in their academic studies and also deliver lectures on avenues of higher studeis after school.
